Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taisto Rahapussi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rahapussi has chosen Caged in A Rage as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Rahapussi.
Iverson scores with a jab to the body.
Iverson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rahapussi throws a sloppy head kick and Iverson moves out of range easily.
Rahapussi just misses with a punch to the body.
Rahapussi throws a shot from downtown. Iverson moves away and avoids it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Rahapussi gets tackled into the cage by Iverson. Iverson maintains the clinch.

Iverson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Iverson has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Rahapussi works to full guard.

Rahapussi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Iverson is aware though and is defending well.

Iverson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rahapussi's guard.
Rahapussi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Iverson manages to get himself to full guard.
Iverson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Iverson wants to stand but Rahapussi is controlling the position.
Rahapussi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dave Iverson will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Iverson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rahapussi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rahapussi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Iverson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rahapussi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Iverson shoots in and drives through. Rahapussi sprawls well.
Rahapussi stuffs the takedown attempt from Iverson. Iverson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Iverson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rahapussi throws a series of punches but Iverson avoids them all with ease.
Iverson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Iverson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Iverson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Iverson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rahapussi is trying to defend but Iverson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Rahapussi is trying to control but can't.
Iverson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Iverson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rahapussi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Iverson tries to stand and escape but Rahapussi is controlling the position.
Rahapussi has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Iverson. Oh but Rahapussi has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Iverson goes limp - he's gone! Rahapussi jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

An out of breath Taisto Rahapussi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
