PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasi Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Translucent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Translucent fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Translucent misses with a hook. Kukko ducked under it nicely.
Translucent steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kukko.
Kukko throws a lazy uppercut
and Translucent counters with a nice uppercut.

Kukko feints and as Translucent raises his hands in defense, Kukko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Translucent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kukko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kukko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Translucent is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kukko defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kukko is posturing up here but Translucent has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kukko tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kukko has to tap! Slick submission there by Translucent!
