Hope comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Linkin Park - CASTLE OF GLASS kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hope tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Adams is in Hope's guard.
Adams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hope is keeping the position for now.
Hope is trying to keep Adams in close.
Hope might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Adams kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Adams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hope controls Adams momentarily but Adams frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Matthew Hope.
Adams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Adams lands in his opponent's guard.

Hope is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Adams frees his head nicely. Oh but Hope has switched to an armbar! Adams is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
