Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Woolley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Artest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Caleb Woolley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rory Artest!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woolley bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Artest looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Woolley drops Artest with a right and a left! Woolley comes rushing in but Artest regains his composure and manages to keep Woolley in guard.


Artest is rocked!


It looks like Rory Artest has been cut.
Woolley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Artest on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Woolley is looking to stand up but Artest won't let him.
Artest is still in real trouble! Can Woolley finish him?

Artest has his feet on Woolley's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Woolley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Artest seems to have recovered his senses.

Woolley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Artest wants to improve his position but Woolley is controlling well.
Woolley is just content to waste time from the top position. Artest takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Artest pushes Woolley off and gets back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Woolley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Woolley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Artest is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Artest darts in and clinches Woolley up against the cage.
Woolley pushes off an throws an elbow but Artest leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Caleb Woolley.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Woolley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
