Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Rood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers's entrance music is Meatloaf: In The Land Of The Pigs. A fine choice. Rood is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by -. On his way into the cage it seems that Dylan Summers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dylan Summers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Rood! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Summers darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Summers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rood's head. Rood avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Summers. Rood wants to get back to his feet.
Summers missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rood is trying to stand.
Rood has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Summers is working away from the top position though. Rood desperately trying to maintain half guard. Summers trying to control the action but Rood is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rood trying to control but Summers postures up.
Brad Rood has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Rood swings widly with a right hand
and Summers counters with a shoot takedown. Rood fights it but they end up in guard. Summers landing with the ground and pound. Summers tries to free his leg and advance position but Rood is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rood looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rood trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Summers stops Rood from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rood keeping moving, preventing Summers from controlling successfully. Summers lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rood wants to stand up but Summers is controlling him. Summers trying to control the position from guard on top but Rood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Summers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rood wants to sweep here but Summers controlling him for the moment. Rood wants to hit a switch here but Summers passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rood there! Summers landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Summers cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summers looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Rood covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dylan Summers! A very excited looking Dylan Summers rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
