Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dean Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afro Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean Walker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dean Walker ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Afro Samurai! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.

Samurai throws a lazy body kick and Walker counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Samurai takes a kick to the side of the head. Samurai shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Samurai feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Walker 's calf. Samurai throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Samurai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Samurai. A looping hook to the body misses from Samurai. Walker does a little dance to reset his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Samurai slips a jab and a cross from Walker .
Walker wants to land a leg kick but Samurai is out of range. Afro Samurai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker is looking to land body kicks. Walker scores with a slapping inside leg kick. A good leg kick by Walker .
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/1.gif) That's one minute gone in the round. Samurai lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Nice defenses there by Samurai. Samurai checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Walker avoids a kick to the body.
Walker explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Samurai. Walker shrugs it off though. Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Samurai tries a head kick but it misses.
Samurai looks winded! Walker avoids the body shot from Samurai.
Samurai looks to throw a body kick and Walker counters with an inside leg kick. Samurai has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Walker . This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Walker pulls out of a head kick attempt.

It looks like Afro Samurai has been cut. Walker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Samurai has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Samurai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Walker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. That kick from Walker tenderised Samurai's leg. Samurai is trying to keep his angry face on. Samurai stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Walker . Walker misses with a body kick. Walker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walker connects with a solid leg kick. Walker 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Samurai under the eye. Walker lands a glancing blow to the side of Samurai's head.

Walker staggers Samurai with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Samurai looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Walker is victorious!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dean Walker ! Dean Walker was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
