Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Squirtle Blastoise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blastoise might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Rolling Stones: Sympathy For The Devil. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Squirtle Blastoise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lee throws a hook to the side of Blastoise's head but Blastoise sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Blastoise misses with a low kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Blastoise to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Blastoise controls from within his opponent's guard.
Blastoise throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blastoise. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blastoise has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee wants to sweep here but Blastoise controlling him for the moment.

Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Blastoise's shoulder, as Blastoise tries to avoid the shot.
Blastoise shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lee throws a series of punches but Blastoise avoids them all with ease.

Blastoise wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.

Blastoise creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lee sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Lee is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Blastoise off and has taken his back!

Blastoise turns into Lee and is now in his guard.
Blastoise trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Lee cracks Blastoise with an open hand slap.
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Blastoise slips the punch.
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blastoise circles away quickly and effectively.

Lee swings for the body but Blastoise moves out of range.
Blastoise shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
A bone on bone clash there as Lee blocks the leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Lee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Blastoise throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blastoise off to one side.
Blastoise shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blastoise gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Squirtle Blastoise. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blastoise closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Blastoise pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Blastoise tried to score with a low kick but Lee checks it.
Blastoise closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blastoise lands in his opponent's guard.
Squirtle Blastoise overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Blastoise is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Blastoise looking to sit in guard and control but Lee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Blastoise is looking to sinch up a triangle. Lee throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Blastoise's body to avoid the submission. Blastoise has instead reached around Lee's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Blastoise arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Squirtle Blastoise!
