Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sly Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Miller's choice of entrance music: Johnny Cash - Hurt. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Sly Randolph!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Miller!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randolph throws a half hearted mid kick.
Randolph stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Miller.
Randolph looks to score with a jab to the body but Miller is just out of range.
Miller stuns Randolph with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Miller throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Randolph uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miller.
Randolph throws the kick towards the body but Miller avoids it.
Randolph moves away from the strike by Miller.
Randolph does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Randolph shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Miller as he jumps to the side.
Miller lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Randolph fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Miller checks it well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Randolph connects with a nice short shot to Miller's temple.

That was a close round but Sly Randolph did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Randolph lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
