Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fabricio dos Nikkos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Castle! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle cracks the inside of dos Nikkos's front leg. Castle misses with the combination.
Castle throws a series of punches but dos Nikkos avoids them all with ease. dos Nikkos takes a shot right to the bread basket. Castle smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. dos Nikkos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
dos Nikkos pushing out the jab but it's not landing. dos Nikkos swings for the body but Castle moves out of range.
dos Nikkos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castle moves away. dos Nikkos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Castle. Castle misses with a left hand and dos Nikkos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Good leg kick by Castle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Castle throws a leg kick which misses dos Nikkos's front leg but catches the back leg as dos Nikkos tries to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. dos Nikkos just misses with a punch to the body.
Eric Castle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Castle cracks dos Nikkos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. dos Nikkos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
dos Nikkos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Castle can pounce on him.
Castle lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
An inside leg kick from Castle misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Castle misses with the combination.
A combination from Castle does no damage. Castle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from dos Nikkos. A chopping leg kick lands by Castle. dos Nikkos avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Castle misses with a two punch combination.
Oooooh!!! Castle has knocked dos Nikkos down with a huge combo! Castle steps away and waves a wobbly dos Nikkos back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
dos Nikkos is rocked! A solid leg kick lands there for Castle.
Oh dos Nikkos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Castle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Castle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Danga de danga de dang - Castle scores with a four punch combination! Castle drops dos Nikkos with a naaaaasty hook - dos Nikkos is in real trouble here! Castle dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Castle! A less than humble Eric Castle misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
