Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kaataja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kalle Kaataja!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaataja closes the distance and clinches.
Kaataja tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Kaataja shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kaataja tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Jones goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kaataja prevents it.
Jones jumps guard but Kaataja stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kaataja lands a shoulder strike.
Kaataja lands with a short shot to the head.

Kaataja swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kaataja avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jones wants a takedown but no success here.

Jones gets control of Kaataja's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kaataja's guard.
Kaataja is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
Kaataja really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kaataja is pulling down on Jones's head to control his posture.

Kaataja is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kaataja manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaataja can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kaataja!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kaataja is trying desperately to improve position.
Kaataja tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kaataja can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jones is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kaataja has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kaataja is trying desperately to improve position.
Kaataja tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.
Jones throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Jones has hold of Kaataja's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kaataja manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jones looking to ground and pound but Kaataja is blocking nicely.

Jones has isolated one of Kaataja's arms. Kaataja looking to fight him off but Jones twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
