Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Logan Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Mitchell swings for the body but Marius moves out of range.
Good exchange - Mitchell coming out on top.
Mitchell misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Marius counters with a stiff right hand.
Mitchell cracks Marius with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Alexander Marius has been cut.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mitchell enables Marius to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mitchell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mitchell lands an elbow that stopped Marius in his tracks for a moment.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Marius just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mitchell's brow.

Mitchell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marius has him pressed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mitchell manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Marius tries to work over Mitchell's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Mitchell dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Marius misses with a hook. Mitchell ducked under it nicely.
Mitchell pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Marius fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mitchell manages to avoid it.
Mitchell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marius.
Marius avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mitchell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mitchell wants it to stay on the feet.

and Marius counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mitchell can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mitchell has control of Marius's left arm, preventing Marius from doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mitchell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mitchell ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Marius lands a right hook to the body.
Marius takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Marius connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Marius tries to move into range but Mitchell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Alexander Marius's cut is getting worse.
Marius tries to clinch but Mitchell is having none of it.
Mitchell throws a hook to the side of Marius's head but Marius sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Mitchell misses with a lunging right hand
and Marius connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Marius finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Mitchell's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Marius falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Logan Mitchell!
Our winner, Logan Mitchell, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
