Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Sarmientino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Sarmientino will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Crazy Jiu Jitsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Sarmientino! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jiu Jitsu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sarmientino counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jiu Jitsu fails with the takedown and Sarmientino makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jiu Jitsu misses with a takedown attempt and Sarmientino counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crazy Jiu Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sarmientino scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Sarmientino. Jiu Jitsu doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sarmientino counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jiu Jitsu moves forwards but Sarmientino connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jiu Jitsu misses with a takedown and Sarmientino counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sarmientino digs a good body shot into Jiu Jitsu's ribs. Jiu Jitsu tries for a takedown but Sarmientino circles away easily and Jiu Jitsu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jiu Jitsu with a poor takedown and Sarmientino counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jiu Jitsu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sarmientino punishes Jiu Jitsu's body with a nice straight punch. Jiu Jitsu misses with a takedown attempt letting Sarmientino counter with a right hand. Jiu Jitsu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sarmientino counters with a right hand to the body. Jiu Jitsu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sarmientino counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jiu Jitsu tries for a takedown but Sarmientino circles away easily and Sarmientino counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nice uppercut there from Sarmientino. Jason Sarmientino is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jiu Jitsu with a lazy takedown attempt and Sarmientino makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Sarmientino dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jiu Jitsu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jiu Jitsu showed some decent athleticism there. Jiu Jitsu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sarmientino tries to roll over but Jiu Jitsu keeps him under control. Sarmientino gets full guard. Jiu Jitsu tries to free his leg and advance position but Sarmientino is retaining full guard. Jiu Jitsu is looking to work some ground and pound but Sarmientino has wrist control. Sarmientino avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jiu Jitsu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sarmientino works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jiu Jitsu trying to control the position from guard on top but Sarmientino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sarmientino manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jiu Jitsu manages to get himself to full guard.

Sarmientino is pushing down on Jiu Jitsu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jiu Jitsu is fighting to maintain full guard but Sarmientino has managed to sneak the leg through. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sarmientino in particular looking to stall. Jiu Jitsu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jiu Jitsu keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jiu Jitsu wants to get back to full guard. Sarmientino controlling the pace. Jiu Jitsu looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Sarmientino was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jiu Jitsu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sarmientino connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jiu Jitsu scrambles back to his feet. Jiu Jitsu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sarmientino counters with a left to the body. Jiu Jitsu with a lazy takedown attempt and Jiu Jitsu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sarmientino lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jiu Jitsu at a distance.
Jiu Jitsu scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sarmientino is looking to regain half guard here but Jiu Jitsu keeps moving and retains side control. Jiu Jitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sarmientino, who protects the arm well. Jiu Jitsu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sarmientino is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sarmientino tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jiu Jitsu presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Sarmientino tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sarmientino manages to regain half guard. Good work. Sarmientino is in trouble now - Jiu Jitsu has advanced to mount! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jiu Jitsu trying to control but he's not successful this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sarmientino tries to improve his position but instead Jiu Jitsu has taken his back! Sarmientino is in bad spot here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Crazy Jiu Jitsu will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Jiu Jitsu with a poor takedown and Sarmientino counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jiu Jitsu is lucky that one didn't land flush. Jiu Jitsu doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sarmientino connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sarmientino has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jiu Jitsu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sarmientino counters with a one-two to the body. Jiu Jitsu tries for a takedown but Sarmientino circles away easily and Sarmientino counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jiu Jitsu thinking. Jiu Jitsu has his takedown stuffed and Sarmientino counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jiu Jitsu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Sarmientino counter with a right hand. Jiu Jitsu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jiu Jitsu takes a shot right to the bread basket.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Sarmientino comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sarmientino has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
