Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Batsbak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayhem has chosen pissed off and mad about it as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richard Batsbak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rob Mayhem!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem fakes the leg kick and cracks Batsbak in the body.
Batsbak shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Batsbak seems to be looking for submissions.

Mayhem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Batsbak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Batsbak passes to side control.
Batsbak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Batsbak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Batsbak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Batsbak swings around for an armbar but Mayhem sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Batsbak's guard.
Mayhem stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Batsbak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Batsbak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mayhem is aware though and is defending well.
Batsbak is looking for a triangle but Mayhem pushes his legs off easily.
Batsbak is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mayhem defends well.
Batsbak has his foot on Mayhem's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mayhem works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mayhem has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Batsbak is proving hard to escape from.
Mayhem throws a big right hand that misses.
Batsbak is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mayhem has his hands clasped together but Batsbak extends an breaks Mayhem's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Batsbak.
