The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Stark saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Stark buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Stark shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stark uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Stark has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Stark there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jones takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Paul Jones has been cut.
Jones instigates a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stark is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jones is defending well for now.

Stark lands an elbow that stopped Jones in his tracks for a moment.
Jones goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jones blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Stark lands a hook that snaps the head of Jones backwards.

Jones has a couple of punches blocked by Stark.
Jones wants a takedown.
Thomas Stark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Jones.
Stark blocks a body shot from Jones.
A nice right hand lands inside from Stark.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jones creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Stark throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jones blocks it with crossed arms.
Jones lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Stark swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Stark misses with a punch to the body.

Stark swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stark crunches a lovely knee into Jones's ribcage.
Stark tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jones's elbow.
Jones takes an elbow to the forehead.
Stark blocks an uppercut.
Stark lands a knee to the body.
Stark lands a good knee to the midsection. Jones won't want to take too many of those.

Jones blocks an uppercut.
Jones tries to work over Stark's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jones.
Stark throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jones blocks it with crossed arms.
Stark lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

A nice left hand lands by Stark.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stark gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Stark misses with a knee strike.
Jones goes for a takedown attempt but Stark pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stark moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stark is defending well.
Stark is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stark down to the mat. Stark avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Stark lands with a big left! Jones is wobbled badly! Stark comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Jones to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Thomas Stark!
After winning the bout, Thomas Stark thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
