Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Shabadoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shabadoo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. OMNIUM GATHERUM - The Unknowing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joey Shabadoo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shabadoo slips under a jab.

Shabadoo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
No joy there for Shabadoo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hodges dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shabadoo. That did some damage!

Shabadoo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hodges manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Shabadoo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Shabadoo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Shabadoo, right into the meat.
Hodges displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shabadoo.
Hodges lands a nice leg kick that just misses Shabadoo's sensitive parts.

and Shabadoo counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hodges is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Hodges's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shabadoo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hodges scrambles back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joey Shabadoo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shabadoo cracks Hodges on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hodges falls backwards against the cage. Shabadoo follows up with more strikes that drop Hodges to his knees. Shabadoo keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hodges! This one is all over!
