Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stratton Hartford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nichi Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stratton Hartford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hartford takes a step back to recover.
Hong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hartford keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hong fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hartford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hong pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hartford moves away.
Hong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hong misses with a wild body shot.
Hartford keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hong finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hartford needs to keep his hands up - Hong had a free shot at his head there.
Hartford uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hong.
Some bone on bone action there as Hartford checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hartford takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hong throws a hook to the side of Hartford's head but Hartford sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hartford moves out of range as Hong throws a body kick.
Hartford tries to close the distance and clinch but Hong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hartford fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hong misses with a looping left.
Hartford takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hartford has a takedown stuffed.
Hong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hartford manages to avoid it.

and Hong counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hartford's knee momentarily.

Hong throws a low kick but Hartford avoids it.
Nichi Hong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hong takes a swing at Hartford's ribcage but misses.

so Hartford counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stratton Hartford.
Hartford shoots for a takedown but Hong saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hartford chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hong can pounce on him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hong displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hartford.

and Hong counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hartford! He's just covering up as Hong starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
