Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renee Mondeux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chras Watsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mondeux comes to the cage accompanied by Ronnie McCoury-Cajun Man. Chras Watsky is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Renee Mondeux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chras Watsky!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mondeux scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Watsky manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Mondeux shoots in but no luck this time.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mondeux.
Mondeux throws a series of punches but Watsky avoids them all with ease.
Mondeux is breathing heavily.
Watsky doesn't manage to clinch there - Mondeux circles away.
Watsky tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mondeux swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mondeux scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Watsky is pushing Mondeux up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Mondeux is looking to control Watsky's arms but Watsky gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mondeux has his back to the cage.
Watsky misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mondeux.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Watsky just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mondeux's brow.

Mondeux breaks from the clinch.
Watsky slaps away a takedown attempt from Mondeux, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mondeux is defended easily by Watsky.
The fight stays on the outside here - Watsky looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mondeux is looking to wear down Watsky with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Horrible takedown by Mondeux or perhaps it was just good defense by Watsky which made him look bad.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mondeux will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

No joy there for Mondeux, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Watsky gets caught napping as Mondeux dives in and scores a takedown. Watsky manages to retain guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mondeux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mondeux throws a strike but Watsky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mondeux jumps guard but Watsky turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Watsky is looking to control Mondeux's arms but Mondeux gets an underhook and turns him. Now Watsky has his back to the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Mondeux pulls guard.
Watsky looking to sit in guard and control but Mondeux gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Watsky can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mondeux controls the pace.

Mondeux gets to his feet - Watsky follows without any prompting.

Mondeux prevents Watsky from standing back up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mondeux lands a nice short elbow.

Mondeux tries to pass the half guard into mount. Watsky knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Watsky connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Watsky doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Watsky throws a chopping leg kick but Mondeux manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mondeux, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
