Jong Dong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Aegukka kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! David Summers has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong Dong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Summers goes for a takedown attempt but Jong Dong pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jong Dong shoots in and gets a takedown into Summers's guard.
Jong Dong throws a strike but Summers rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Jong Dong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jong Dong looking for a guillotine here but Summers defends easily.
Summers postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Summers drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jong Dong looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jong Dong looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jong Dong!

Jong Dong works to advance to full mount. Summers defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
