Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timoteo Fontoura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jhonnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontoura shoots for a takedown but Jhonnes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jhonnes wants to slow Fontoura down by chopping away at his legs.
Jhonnes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jhonnes tries to bum rush Fontoura with a series of wild strikes but Fontoura uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jhonnes closes the distance and clinches up with Fontoura, looking for a takedown. Jhonnes pushes Fontoura against the cage but Fontoura circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Timoteo Fontoura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Jhonnes.

Well Jhonnes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
