The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Anni Minnem�ki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trasseli avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nykanen lands a jab.
Trasseli throws a right hand that Nykanen ducks under and follows up with a left that Nykanen also avoids with ease.
Nykanen's corner calls for a 1-2. Nykanen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nykanen looks to score with a jab to the body but Trasseli is just out of range.
Trasseli moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Nykanen throws a hook but Trasseli blocks it.
Nykanen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Trasseli dips to his left and cracks Nykanen with an uppercut!
Trasseli lands a leg kick that knocks Nykanen off balance momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nykanen misses with a body shot
and Trasseli counters with a left to the body.
Trasseli lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Nykanen goes down and covers up as Trasseli starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pena Trasseli!
During a confident post fight interview, Pena Trasseli thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
