Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tiny Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Errol Field (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Field's choice of entrance music: Best of Sakuraba. Errol Field is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tiny Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Errol Field!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Field with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dong counters with a series of strikes. Field will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dong misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from Dong. Those never looked like landing.
Field is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Field gets caught napping as Dong dives in and scores a takedown. Field manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dong passes Field's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Dong prevents Field from improving his position.
Field looking for submissions off his back.
Dong gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Field shoots in for a double leg but Dong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tiny Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Errol Field.

Dong fails to land the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Field or perhaps it was just good defense by Dong which made him look bad.
Field tries to sprawl but Dong drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Field won't allow Dong to pass to mount.
Dong moves into full mount! Field won't be happy about that!
Dong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dong blocks Field's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Field wants to hold on but Dong pushes him away.
Dong stands up from mount. Strange move.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Field is defended easily by Dong.

Field shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dong defends it nicely.
Dong drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dong trying to control but Field is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Field looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dong content to stall in guard here.
Dong wants to control from the top but Field keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tiny Dong has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Dong shoots and misses
and Field counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dong keeping full guard, as Field tries to pass.
Dong is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dong pulls Field in close to his closed guard and prevents Field from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tiny Dong just wasn't active enough.
Dong slaps away a takedown attempt from Field, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Field closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dong did well to prevent Field getting side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Field wants to take a breather but Dong is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dong pushes Field off looking to stand but Field dives back in and keeps control.
Dong tries to roll over but Field keeps him under control.
Field is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dong has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dong trying to control from the bottom.
Dong is concentrating on defense, preventing Field from advancing position.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Dong wants to get back to his feet.
Field wants to take a breather but Dong is having none of it.
Dong has one foot on Field's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Field gets tackled into the cage by Dong. Dong maintains the clinch.
Dong gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Field.
Dong is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Dong is breathing heavily.
Dong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Field with a flurry of punches that miss.
Field postures up.
Dong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Field manages to get himself to full guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round.
Field wants to sweep here but Dong controlling him for the moment.
Field pushes a forearm under Dong's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dong is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
