Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Del Spooner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wes Miles!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spooner throws a hook but Miles blocks it.
Spooner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Spooner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Miles counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Del Spooner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spooner has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Spooner throws an off balance right hand
and Miles counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Spooner closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Spooner is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sloppy strikes from Miles. Those never looked like landing.
Oh Spooner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spooner walks straight into a right hand from Miles - that's dropped him! Miles jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Spooner from any more punishment! Spooner complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

After winning the bout, Wes Miles thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
