Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Haei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jossh Doubles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doubles fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Haei looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Doubles has a hand on Haei's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Haei takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Haei knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doubles on the ground. Doubles is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Haei moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Doubles has worked his arm free - good work by Doubles!
Haei working away. Haei is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Doubles knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Doubles controls the position for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doubles can't do much from the bottom here. Haei trying to control the position but Doubles is working away. Haei postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Haei advances to full mount. Doubles wants to hold on but Haei pushes him away. Doubles wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Doubles can't escape the position.
Haei looking to control but Doubles is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Haei avoids the attempt from Doubles to control. Haei landing strikes from the mount. Doubles is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Haei lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doubles is squirming around, avoiding Haei's attempts to control the action. Haei could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haei raining down shots from the mount! Haei lands a nice shot to the head.
Doubles is rocked! Haei is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Doubles can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Doubles is still on wobbly legs! Can Haei finish him? Haei with shots to the head and body - Doubles looks very uncomfortable down there. Doubles is squirming around, avoiding Haei's attempts to control the action. Haei looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Haei trying to control but Doubles is having none of it. Doubles seems to have recovered his senses. Doubles is looking to improve his position but Haei isn't that keen on the idea.

Haei has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Doubles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Haei drags the fight down to the ground.
Haei can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Doubles controls the pace. Doubles trying to control the position from guard on top but Haei is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Doubles pushes down on Haei's leg and manages to get into half guard. Doubles prevents Haei from standing back up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Doubles is thwarting Haei's attempts to control the position. Doubles passes the guard and advances to mount! Doubles goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Haei turns into him and now he's in Doubles's guard.
Haei looking to sit in guard and control but Doubles gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Haei looking to hit a scissor sweep but Doubles is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doubles trying to control the position from guard on top but Haei is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Haei is trying to keep Doubles in close.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Doubles tries to clinch but fails miserably and Haei counters with a nice double leg into side control. Doubles won't be happy with that. Haei trying to control the action but Doubles is working from the bottom. Doubles prevents Haei from improving position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A bit of a lull in the action here. Haei lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Doubles down.
Doubles wants to control but Haei postures up. Haei trying to control the position but Doubles is working away. Doubles is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Doubles shoots and misses and Haei counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Knees to the body from Haei.

Doubles stands up and waves to Haei to follow him. Haei misses with a takedown and Doubles counters with a single leg into guard. Haei didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Haei trying to control the position.

Doubles is looking to take a break and control but Haei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Isaac Haei will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Doubles misses with a takedown and Haei decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Doubles's guard. Doubles takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Isaac Haei overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Haei is really struggling to control Doubles but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Haei lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Haei trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Haei tries to stand but Doubles is controlling from the bottom. Doubles looking to hit a scissor sweep but Haei is one step ahead there. Doubles lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Haei! A nice elbow there by Doubles.

Doubles avoids the attempt from Haei to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doubles controlling his opponent. Haei reaches up to try and control the position but Doubles seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Haei rolls and tries to escape and now Doubles has his back!
Doubles not allowing Haei to control his hands. Doubles is looking for the choke from the back position but Haei is controlling his hands well.

Doubles avoiding Haei 's attempts to control his hands. Haei tries to escape but Doubles has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Haei has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Haei is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Doubles gets his hands free as Haei looks to control. Jossh Doubles has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Haei manages to reverse the position and now he's in Doubles's guard. Nice work there by Haei.
And that's the end of the fight! Isaac Haei showed his dominance in that final round. Well Haei has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
