Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rellik X (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Du Pont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). X comes to the cage accompanied by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RU_yBDIoOM. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du Pont misses with a takedown attempt - X sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
X stuffs the takedown attempt from Du Pont. Du Pont gets slowly back to his feet.
Du Pont drives through and clinches with X against the cage.
Du Pont pulls guard successfully.
X controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
X pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Du Pont is keeping the position for now.
X throws a strike but Du Pont rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
X trying to control the position.
Du Pont wants to control from the top but X keeps moving.
X is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Du Pont trying to control the position from guard on top but X is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
X throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
X moves into the clinch.
X gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Du Pont wants to control but X is keeping busy.
Du Pont tries to roll over but X keeps him under control.
X gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
X misses with a takedown attempt - Du Pont sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and X makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rellik X has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Du Pont.

X looks to score with a jab to the body but Du Pont is just out of range.
X shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. X showed some decent athleticism there.
X looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Du Pont with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Du Pont trying to control but X postures up.
X wants to lay and pray for a moment but Du Pont keeps working.
X looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Du Pont is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Du Pont slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Du Pont tries for a takedown but X circles away easily
and X decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Du Pont's guard.
Du Pont wants to sweep here but X controlling him for the moment.
Du Pont pushes X off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
X is breathing heavily.
X closes the distance and clinches up with Du Pont, looking for a takedown. X pushes Du Pont against the cage but Du Pont circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Du Pont misses the shot to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Du Pont. No joy for X on that attempt.

X is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Du Pont fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
X tries for a takedown but Du Pont circles away easily
and Du Pont counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Du Pont.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Du Pont drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Du Pont as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! X screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Du Pont! Nice submission victory there!
