PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raddick Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Marr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins's entrance music is ill bill - war is my destiny. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Pat Marr enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raddick Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pat Marr!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marr as he avoids it easily.

Marr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jenkins, pushing him back against the cage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Marr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Marr winds up and cracks Jenkins with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jenkins is looking to control Marr's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jenkins avoid being mounted?

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jenkins tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Marr keeps control of Jenkins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Jenkins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marr has him pressed against the cage.

Marr has clasped his hands together around Jenkins's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Marr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marr connects with a nice short shot to Jenkins's temple.

Pat Marr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
