Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demian Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Demian Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kim circles away quickly and effectively. Kim fails with a takedown attempt. Silva throws a big shot that misses. Kim misses with an attempted mid kick.
Silva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Silva stuffs the takedown. Kim on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kim manages to avoid it. Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Kim on that attempt. Demian Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim. Kim stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silva. Kim fails to land the takedown. Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kim moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva leaves Kim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss. Demian Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kim with a lazy takedown attempt and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kim moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kim. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Kim wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position. Kim thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is trying to stand.
Silva is looking to control Kim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted? Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kim wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy. Silva trying to control from the bottom.
Kim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kim lands a nice short elbow. Silva wants to control but Kim is keeping busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim prevents Silva from improving his position. Kim is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kim. Kim is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kim is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.
Silva is looking to control Kim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kim missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kim throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Silva to regain full guard. Silva working a defensive guard here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kim. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Demian Silva dominated that round. That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Silva tries to sprawl but Kim drives through with a takedown into half guard. Kim throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Silva won't allow Kim to pass to mount. Silva is controlling Kim's trapped leg to prevent Kim from advancing to side control. Silva is trying to maintain the position but Kim is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Demian Silva. Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kim. Kim fails with a takedown attempt. Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva throws a series of punches but Kim moves out of range. Silva looks to land a combination but Kim avoids it well. Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kim slips a jab and a cross from Silva.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva throws a body punch but Kim moves out of range. Kim showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.

Kim defending well as Silva loads up on a big left hand. Silva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Demian Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kim is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Demian Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim. Kim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kim dodges the punch combination from Silva.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kim shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Silva throws a nice looking combination but Kim bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Demian Silva dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Silva throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kim with a lazy takedown attempt and Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kim's calf. Silva connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kim. Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kim takes one to the chin there. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kim. Silva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Kim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.

That's one minute gone in the round. Silva moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kim fails with a takedown attempt. Demian Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim. Silva swings for the body but Kim moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Silva as Kim shoots in. A chopping leg kick lands by Silva. Silva lands with a kick to the ribs.
Silva scores with a jab to the jaw. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kim's hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Silva scores with the left hand. Kim knows he should have avoided that one. Kim ducks under a wild hook from Silva. Kim avoids the body shot from Silva.
Kim has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Silva misses with a jab to the body
and Kim counters with a takedown into side control. Silva is trying to control Kim's posture but Kim avoids it. Silva is looking to regain half guard here but Kim keeps moving and retains side control. Silva can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Kim working away. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. Silva is looking for a sweep. Kim wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kim but great work by Silva. Silva has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kim! Jin Kim has got the better of the ground game so far. Silva tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Silva wants to control the pace but Kim is squirming around nicely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Demian Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Demian Silva! Demian Silva spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
