Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Fight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Laranja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laranja has chosen best of renato as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Renato Laranja struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laranja is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fight defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Laranja is striking well from the back but Fight escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
