Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noam Devitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Crook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crook comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hall of Fame kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Noam Devitt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nate Crook!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devitt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Crook blocks a head kick by Devitt.
Crook displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Crook misses with a few strikes there.
Crook throws a sloppy body shot
and Devitt counters with a two punch combo.
Devitt has a takedown stuffed.

Crook forces Devitt back against the cage and clinches.

Crook pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Devitt clinches up with Crook and pushes him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Still in the clinch, Crook scores with a nice short uppercut.
The referee is keeping an eye on Crook - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Crook is leaning against Devitt and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Devitt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Crook misses with a combination
letting Devitt counter with a right hand.

Crook rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Devitt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Devitt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crook looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Devitt wants to control but Crook is keeping him busy.
Crook can't do much from the bottom here.
Crook is trying to get back to half guard.
I wouldn't like to be where Crook is right now.
Devitt is looking to take a break and control but Crook is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Devitt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Devitt is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Crook will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Crook is trying to improve his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Crook lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Devitt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crook sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Devitt somewhat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Devitt jumps guard but Crook stands there with Devitt around his waist. Devitt gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Crook has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crook creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crook, as that shot connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crook throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Devitt crashing down! Devitt tries to stagger back to his feet but Crook just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Devitt asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
