Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Hemingway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamb has chosen Saltwater as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ernest Hemingway!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Toby Lamb!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemingway checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lamb throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hemingway's head.
Lamb misses with a few strikes there.
Hemingway has managed to clinch.
Lamb landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Lamb taking a breather.
Lamb is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Lamb throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hemingway blocks it with crossed arms.
Lamb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hemingway fails with a takedown attempt.

Lamb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hemingway shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lamb as he jumps to the side.

Lamb misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hemingway shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lamb but Lamb pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lamb tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lamb lands with a kick to the temple. Hemingway shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Lamb changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hemingway looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hemingway regains half guard.

Lamb winds up and cracks Hemingway with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hemingway gets full guard.
Lamb works over Hemingway with some ground and pound from guard.
Hemingway manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lamb looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight.
Lamb tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hemingway looking for a guillotine from mount but Lamb is having none of it.
Hemingway is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lamb manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hemingway is looking for a kimura but Lamb is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hemingway to get the leverage.

Hemingway prevents Lamb from improving his position.
Lamb is trying to stand.
Hemingway tries to pass to full mount but Lamb defends it.
Lamb is trying to get back to full guard.
Lamb lands a couple of sideways elbows.
Lamb is looking to improve his position.
Lamb kicks off Hemingway and gets to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lamb throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hemingway blocks it with crossed arms.
Lamb crunches a lovely knee into Hemingway's ribcage.
Lamb stalls.

Hemingway is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lamb is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hemingway to the mat. Hemingway regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hemingway looking to control.
Lamb really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hemingway. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lamb makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lamb must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hemingway misses with a body kick.
Hemingway swats away the attempt to clinch by Lamb.
Hemingway takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Lamb takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lamb scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hemingway in his tracks.
Lamb forces Hemingway back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hemingway has Lamb pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lamb manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hemingway keeps control of Lamb as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lamb breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lamb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hemingway avoids the head kick by Lamb.
Lamb buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lamb stalks Hemingway and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hemingway's face. Hemingway staggers backwards, shaken.
Lamb throws a leg kick which misses Hemingway's front leg but catches the back leg as Hemingway tries to avoid it.
Hemingway takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Lamb throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lamb scores with a takedown into Hemingway's guard.
Lamb drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lamb seems to have locked his on tight now - Hemingway screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lamb, as he picks up the win!
