Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Leloup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Upton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leloup comes to the cage accompanied by krolithika. Upton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DL Incognito - Proof kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Leloup! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Upton! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leloup throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Upton throws a looping overhand right but Leloup ducks down to avoid it. Luke Upton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Upton closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leloup did well to prevent Upton getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Upton is working for a submission of some sort.

Upton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Upton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Leloup working a defensive guard here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leloup has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Leloup is looking for a sweep. Upton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Upton with the ground and pound but Leloup uses the opportunity to regain guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Upton thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Leloup has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Leloup is really struggling to control Upton but he's trying to hold on to the position. Upton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Upton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Upton's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Leloup pulls Upton in close to prevent any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Upton is looking to work some ground and pound but Leloup has wrist control. Upton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Upton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Upton throwing strikes but missing. Leloup is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Upton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Upton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Leloup. Upton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leloup pinned against the cage. Leloup gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Upton tries to clinch but fails miserably and Leloup makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Leloup misses with a straight left. Upton closes the distance and clinches up with Leloup, looking for a takedown. Upton pushes Leloup against the cage but Leloup circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jon Leloup has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Upton. Upton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leloup tries to avoid it but Upton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leloup to the ground. Leloup escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Luke Upton is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Upton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leloup swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Luke Upton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Upton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
