Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Soupra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wrathchild kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Leonardo Ferreira has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonardo Ferreira!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soupra clobbers Ferreira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ferreira takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Soupra has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ferreira.
Soupra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Soupra tries a head kick but it misses.
Soupra tries to land a front kick but Ferreira steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Soupra misses with a low kick.
Soupra feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ferreira's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good standup being displayed there by Soupra as he connects with a hook.
Ferreira buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ferreira bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Soupra's head backwards.
It looks like Timmy Soupra has been cut.
Ferreira throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ferreira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Soupra.
Soupra misses with a low kick.
Soupra throws a jab but it's blocked by Ferreira.
Soupra lands a leg kick that knocks Ferreira off balance momentarily.
Ferreira takes a kick to the side of the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Soupra.

Ferreira throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ferreira scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Soupra takes a jab right on the kisser.

Ferreira moves out of range as Soupra throws a body kick.
Ferreira scores with a body shot.
Soupra takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ferreira connects with a looping right hand.
Ferreira blocks a low kick nicely.
Soupra steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ferreira. That one must have hurt.
Soupra takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oooooh!!! Ferreira has knocked Soupra down with a huge combo! Ferreira steps away and waves a wobbly Soupra back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Soupra is rocked!
Soupra switches off momentarily and Ferreira cracks him with a monster right hand! Soupra topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Ferreira dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Ferreira!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leonardo Ferreira!
