Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cee Tasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cee Tasz has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Sapp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cee Tasz! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tasz's half guard. Sapp missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tasz regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sapp. Sapp pushes down on Tasz's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tasz wants to control but Sapp is keeping busy.
Tasz regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sapp. Tasz has Sapp pulled in close to control his posture. Sapp trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapp throws a big elbow that misses. Tasz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sapp throwing strikes from guard but Tasz blocks nicely. Tasz wants to sweep here but Sapp controlling him for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sapp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tasz is pulling down on Sapp's head. It's preventing any offense from Sapp, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tasz pushes Sapp off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Tasz closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sapp tries to land knees in the clinch but Tasz avoids the damage to the body. Tasz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sapp fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sapp closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sapp lands in his opponent's guard. Sapp throws an elbow that misses. Tasz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sapp's guard. Nice move by Tasz! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sapp pulls Tasz in close to prevent any damage. Tasz looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapp seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Tasz looking to pass the guard. Tasz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sapp looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bob Sapp. The fight stays on the outside here - Sapp looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tasz swats away the attempt to clinch by Sapp.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Tasz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Tasz moves nicely into side control. Sapp struggling a bit here. Tasz advances to full mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tasz looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bob Sapp will probably get the nod. That's time! Sapp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sapp. Sapp working the ground and pound from side control. Sapp landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Tasz parries the strikes from Sapp easily there. Sapp is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tasz to escape.

Tasz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sapp wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tasz dodges the ground and pound from Sapp. Tasz is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Tasz can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tasz defending against the ground and pound. Sapp cracks Tasz with a big right hand but Tasz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sapp tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Sapp creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tasz sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Tasz avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sapp. Sapp swings around for an armbar but Tasz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sapp's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tasz controls from within his opponent's guard. Tasz wants to control from the top but Sapp keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tasz with a flurry of punches that miss. Tasz trying to control the position from guard on top but Sapp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tasz tries to stand but Sapp is controlling from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sapp keeping moving, preventing Tasz from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cee Tasz was stalling too much, according to the referee. Tasz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapp gets tackled into the cage by Tasz. Tasz maintains the clinch. Tasz is trying to trip Sapp. He has hold of a leg but Sapp is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tasz persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Sapp wants to sweep but no luck. Sapp keeping moving, preventing Tasz from controlling successfully. Tasz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sapp keeping moving, preventing Tasz from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Cee Tasz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Sapp throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tasz was covering up waiting for the punch and Sapp finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tasz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sapp! Tasz gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sapp on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sapp shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Tasz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tasz. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Bob Sapp will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Tasz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sapp to the ground. Tasz is now in Sapp's guard. Tasz wants to control from the top but Sapp keeps moving. Tasz is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Tasz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sapp kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Tasz has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sapp is proving hard to escape from.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tasz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tasz sitting in guard here, content to control. Sapp on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sapp tries to get out of the position.

Bob Sapp is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tasz looking for a guillotine here but Sapp defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Cee Tasz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sapp has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
