Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Cerdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Bunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cerdan comes to the cage accompanied by French National Anthem. Bunn has chosen Go to Sleep - Eminem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcel Cerdan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Bunn! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bunn lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cerdan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bunn slips under a jab from Cerdan. Bunn scores with a takedown into Cerdan's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bunn prevents Cerdan from getting back to his feet. Cerdan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bunn controls the pace. Cerdan wants to stand but Bunn is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bunn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bunn looking to pass the guard. Cerdan is looking to stand up but Bunn isn't so interested in that idea. Bunn wants to pass the guard but Cerdan is keeping the position. Bunn landing with the ground and pound. Bunn throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cerdan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bunn! Cerdan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bunn is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bunn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Cerdan looking to control and managing it successfully. Cerdan is looking to stand but Cerdan has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bunn is trying desperately to improve position. Cerdan get's back to his feet. Bunn thumps Cerdan with a low kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Cerdan. Bunn does a little dance to reset his feet. Bunn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cerdan. Cerdan throws a body punch but Bunn moves out of range. Bunn digs a good hook to Cerdan's body.
Cerdan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bunn scores with a sloppy right hand. Cerdan should have avoided that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bunn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cerdan misses with a hook
and Bunn counters with a head kick. Jab, jab by Bunn - just one landing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bunn throws a half hearted mid kick. Cerdan throws an off balance right hand
and Bunn counters with a straight right hand. Bunn fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Bunn with a hook. Cerdan loads up on a big right hand but Bunn slips the punch. A jab from Bunn finds it's way through Cerdan's defenses.
Cerdan is rocked! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bunn keeps the fight on the outside. Oh Cerdan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheers as Bunn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cerdan doesn't seem phased though. Bunn looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cerdan throws a body punch but Bunn moves out of range. Marcel Cerdan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cerdan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bunn swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary Bunn dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bunn, as that shot connected.
Bunn looks to score with a jab to the body but Cerdan is just out of range. Gary Bunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bunn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cerdan. A big left from Cerdan misses. Bunn lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jab, jab by Bunn - just one landing. The fight stays on the outside here - Cerdan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bunn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cerdan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bunn somewhat. Bunn moves out of range as Cerdan strikes. Cerdan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cerdan seems to have got his legs back now. Gary Bunn seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bunn moves out of range as Cerdan strikes. An inside leg kick lands from Bunn. A looping hook to the body misses from Cerdan. Bunn does a little dance to reset his feet. Bunn throws a jab but it's blocked by Cerdan. Cerdan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bunn swings for the body but Cerdan moves out of range.
Bunn misses with a looping right. Bunn throws a leg kick which misses Cerdan's front leg but catches the back leg as Cerdan tries to avoid it. Nice uppercut there from Cerdan. Bunn getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Bunn slips under a jab from Cerdan. Good shot there by Cerdan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cerdan moves away from the strike by Bunn. A combination from Cerdan does no damage. Cerdan pushes Bunn up against the cage in a clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bunn misses with a punch on the inside.
Bunn throws a head punch that misses. Bunn misses with a hook to the ribs.
Cerdan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cerdan lands with a right to the head. Bunn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cerdan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Cerdan digs a right hand into Bunn's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bunn's gas tank. Cerdan is looking to break free of the clinch but Bunn has double underhooks. Cerdan avoiding damage.
Bunn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Marcel Cerdan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Bunn.

Cerdan is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Cerdan scores with a hook to the body. Cerdan blocks a body shot from Bunn. Bunn misses with a short punch on the inside. Cerdan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Cerdan tries to land knees in the clinch but Bunn avoids the damage to the body. Bunn tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cerdan's elbow. Bunn tries to throw a body punch but Cerdan avoids it by throwing Bunn back against the cage. Bunn working aggressively here.

Cerdan misses with a straight left. Bunn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Bunn throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bunn looks to throw the jab but Cerdan is out of range. Bunn slips a jab from Cerdan. Some wild striking there from Cerdan.
Cerdan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bunn. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bunn misses with a looping left. Bunn tries for a takedown but Cerdan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bunn throws a solid leg kick but Cerdan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bunn. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Cerdan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Cerdan tries to clinch up but Bunn circles away and keeps his distance. Cerdan throws a jab when Bunn was well out of range. Cerdan has Bunn up against the cage in a clinch.

Bunn moves out of range as Cerdan strikes. Cerdan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bunn. Bunn connects with a single shot there. Bunn throws a low kick, looking for Cerdan's leg but Cerdan calmly moves out of range. A combination from Cerdan does no damage. Bunn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bunn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cerdan moves away. Bunn getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A telegraphed right hand from Cerdan misses the target. Marcel Cerdan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bunn throws the left hand but Cerdan avoids the punch easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcel Cerdan. I think Bunn has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
