The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull fails with a takedown attempt.
Thomas works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pitbull throws a solid leg kick but Thomas takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pitbull.
Pitbull has closed the distance and engaged Thomas in a clinch.
Pitbull prevents a body shot from Thomas.
Pitbull wants a takedown but no success here.
Pitbull manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Thomas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Thomas uses his free foot to push down on Pitbull's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pitbull.

Thomas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pitbull is looking to clinch but Thomas is avoiding it.

Thomas throws a front kick that sends Pitbull stumbling back into the cage.

Pitbull gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Thomas counters with a nice leg kick.
Thomas cracks Pitbull with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pitbull tries for a takedown but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thomas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pitbull sprawling to the canvas! Pitbull rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thomas finish him?!
Pitbull is rocked!
Thomas lands a nice looking body shot.
Oh Pitbull is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pitbull is breathing heavily.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Thomas engages and cracks Pitbull with a massive lead left hook - Pitbull tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Thomas is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jackson Thomas! Jackson Thomas retains his light heavyweight title!
In his post fight interview, Jackson Thomas gave a big smile as he said 'This is it people, this is fucking it!!!! The New World Order is islam!!! I know it sounds crazy and paranoid but look around.... Islamization is real.'.
