The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boykin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Boykin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Price's guard.

Price lands a nice hook to Boykin's body. Boykin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Price throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Boykin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Price is fending him off so far but Boykin persists. Nope, Price circles away and we're back to standing.

Price fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Price connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Boykin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Price. Boykin shrugs it off though.

Price cracks Boykin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Price has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Boykin to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Price connects with a body shot that sends Boykin's belly button to the back.
Price is looking to wear down Boykin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Boykin gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Price gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Boykin is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
