PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spark Boro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathaniel Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Price has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Spark Boro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nathaniel Price!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boro avoids it really well and circles away.
Boro moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Nathaniel Price has been cut.
Boro leaves Price with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boro cracks Price with a right hand to the side of the head.
Price tries for a takedown but Boro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Spark Boro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathaniel Price.
Price wants to clinch but Boro slips to the side
and Boro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boro drops Price with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Price looks back up at him and smiles so Boro waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Price is rocked!
Price tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Boro counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spark Boro!
