Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Schilling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Schilling told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Benson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Schilling!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Schilling paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Schilling misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Benson.
Benson scores with a push kick.
Benson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Benson lands with a kick to the temple. Schilling shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Benson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schilling sprawling to the canvas! Schilling rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Benson finish him?!
Schilling is rocked!
Benson lands a big right hook! Schilling looks hurt but is still standing! Benson lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Schilling falls down and Benson dives in with a huge hammer fist! Schilling's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Benson runs up the ropes to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tony Benson!
