Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Falconer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Falconer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva connects with the punch.

Falconer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Falconer has him pressed against the cage.

Falconer pulls guard.

Falconer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Falconer controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself.
Falconer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Falconer wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Silva throws a shot from downtown. Falconer moves away and avoids it.
Falconer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Falconer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva!

Falconer wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely.

Falconer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Falconer is in Silva's guard.

Falconer moves out of range of the body kick.
Falconer leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Still in half guard, Falconer seems content to control.
Falconer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Josh Falconer.

Falconer gets the takedown into side control.

Silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Falconer off and has taken his back!

Silva is working for a rear naked choke. Falconer is not defending it well and Silva has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Falconer refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Falconer's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
