Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Falconer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Falconer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Falconer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anderson Silva! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva connects with the punch. Falconer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Falconer has him pressed against the cage. Falconer pulls guard. Falconer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Falconer controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself. Falconer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Falconer looking to control but Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Silva is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Falconer wasn't doing enough on the ground. Silva throws a shot from downtown. Falconer moves away and avoids it. Falconer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Falconer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva! Falconer punching from mount but Silva doing a good job of avoiding damage. Silva wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Falconer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Falconer misses with a head shot. Falconer controlling the pace for now. Falconer wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Falconer dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Falconer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Falconer is in Silva's guard. Falconer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Falconer engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Falconer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Falconer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Josh Falconer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falconer wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Falconer wasn't doing enough on the ground. Falconer blocks a head kick by Silva.
Falconer moves out of range of the body kick. Falconer leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Falconer gets a takedown into half guard. Silva keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Falconer seems content to control. Falconer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Josh Falconer. Falconer gets the takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Falconer off and has taken his back! Falconer trying to control but not successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Falconer controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Silva is working for a rear naked choke. Falconer is not defending it well and Silva has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Falconer refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Falconer's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
