PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Baginski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Eastman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baginski comes to the cage accompanied by WALECZNE SERCE. James Eastman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baginski takes a swing at Eastman's ribcage but misses.
Baginski throws a hook to the side of Eastman's head but Eastman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Eastman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Baginski to the mat! Baginski manages to get full guard.
Eastman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Eastman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baginski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Baginski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Eastman closes the distance and clinches up with Baginski, looking for a takedown. Eastman pushes Baginski against the cage but Baginski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
