Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manticore Cthulhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shover Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cthulhu comes to the cage accompanied by Roots Bloody Roots. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cthulhu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Teixeira.

Cthulhu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Teixeira's guard.
Cthulhu has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Teixeira is proving hard to escape from.

Cthulhu is looking to escape.
Cthulhu flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Teixeira takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Cthulhu tries to lock up and control but Teixeira gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cthulhu is looking to improve his position but Teixeira isn't that keen on the idea.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manticore Cthulhu dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cthulhu is trying to trip Teixeira. He has hold of a leg but Teixeira is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cthulhu persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
