Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stick Flair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Gauthier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flair takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Horrible takedown by Flair or perhaps it was just good defense by Gauthier which made him look bad.
Gauthier throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Flair stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Flair tries for a takedown but Gauthier sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Flair shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gauthier counters with a left and a right that stings Flair.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stick Flair. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gauthier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Flair has time to react.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Flair. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

David Gauthier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gauthier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

David Gauthier decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
