Villa comes to the cage accompanied by In One Ear. McGregor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bloc Party - Flux kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! McGregor gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Villa.
A nice inside leg kick there by McGregor. That's going to slow Villa down.
Villa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Villa wants it to stay on the feet.
McGregor misses with a leg kick
and Villa counters with a stiff right hand.

McGregor drops Villa with a nice combination! McGregor dives into Villa's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Poncho Villa has been cut.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
McGregor loads up on a big left hand. Villa felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McGregor looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Villa can't hide his disappointment, as McGregor celebrates the victory.
