Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Vengrio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vengrio's entrance music is Muay Thai. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vengrio lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Mark Dexter has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vengrio throws a hook to the side of Dexter's head but Dexter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dexter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vengrio avoids the head kick by Dexter.
Dexter throws the left hand but Vengrio avoids the punch easily.

Dexter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vengrio looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dexter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vengrio sprawls well. Vengrio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dexter gets slowly back to his feet.

Vengrio bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dexter's head.

Mark Dexter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dexter throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Vengrio stuffs the takedown.

Vengrio buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vengrio sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Dexter to the ground! Vengrio dives into full mount looking to finish!
Dexter is rocked!
Vengrio tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Dexter is still in real trouble! Can Vengrio finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Arthur Vengrio just wasn't active enough.
Vengrio closes the distance and clinches.
Vengrio has Dexter pressed against the cage. He pushes Dexter back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Vengrio throws a beautiful elbow that sends Dexter crashing to the floor! Vengrio piles on the pressure with more strikes! Dexter is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arthur Vengrio!
