Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Choke Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Serge Savard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Intro - DMX. Savard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Voivod- Tribal convictions kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Choke Liddell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Serge Savard! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Liddell counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Liddell trying to control the action but Savard is working from the bottom. Liddell not landing any meaningful shots this time. Liddell passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Savard! Savard wants to control but Liddell is having none of it. Savard is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Savard blocking the ground and pound. Savard is bucking up trying to escape but Liddell cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Liddell throws some wild stikes that Savard manages to avoid easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Liddell lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
It looks like Serge Savard has been cut. Liddell throwing strikes here but Savard is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Serge Savard's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
