Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Phillips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiromashi Kotomitsu!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotomitsu moves forwards but Phillips connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Phillips misses with a hook.
Phillips fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kotomitsu manages to avoid it.
Phillips throws a head kick that misses.
Phillips showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kotomitsu.
Oooooh!!! Kotomitsu has knocked Phillips down with a huge combo! Kotomitsu steps away and waves a wobbly Phillips back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Phillips is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kotomitsu lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Phillips up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kotomitsu from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Phillips's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hiromashi Kotomitsu!
