Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyde Mizzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Williams keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mizzi's efforts to push away.
Williams jumps guard and drags Mizzi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Reggie Williams will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mizzi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That kick from Williams tenderised Mizzi's leg. Mizzi is trying to keep his angry face on.

Williams ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Williams no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mizzi stands up over Williams, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mizzi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mizzi is breathing heavily.

Mizzi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Reggie Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clyde Mizzi.
Williams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mizzi did well to prevent Williams getting side control.
Williams content to control rather than advance.

Williams seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mizzi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mizzi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mizzi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Williams is working away from the top position though.

Mizzi is staying active underneath Williams, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Williams tries to land a front kick but Mizzi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Mizzi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Mizzi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Reggie Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mizzi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
