Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mc Flurry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Great Boyka!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flurry closes the distance looking to clinch
and Boyka counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Flurry wants to clinch
enabling Boyka to counter with a crisp jab.
Boyka throws a right hand that Flurry ducks under and follows up with a left that Flurry also avoids with ease.
Flurry tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Boyka counters with a nice leg kick.

and Boyka finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Boyka swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Flurry takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Boyka fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Flurry checks it well.

Flurry defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boyka.
Boyka goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Boyka counters with an outside leg kick.

Boyka fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Flurry tries to clinch but Boyka moves away
and Boyka counters with a low kick, right behind Flurry 's knee.

and Boyka counters with a body kick that stops Flurry in his tracks momentarily.
Mc Flurry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Flurry pushes Boyka up against the cage in a clinch.
Boyka tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Flurry lands an elbow just above Boyka 's eye.
Boyka is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Flurry tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Boyka avoids it.

Boyka is pushing Flurry up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Boyka tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Flurry's elbow.
Boyka is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Flurry throws an elbow but it misses.
Boyka's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

and Boyka counters with a big head kick but Flurry shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boyka connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Boyka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Great Boyka dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Boyka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Boyka misses with a jab, cross combination.

Flurry darts in trying to clinch
and Boyka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mc Flurry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Boyka counters with a slapping leg kick.
Boyka will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Good work by Flurry as he checks the leg kick.

and Boyka counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Boyka lands a leg kick that knocks Flurry off balance momentarily.

and Boyka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mc Flurry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Boyka counters with a head kick that drops Flurry to the mat! Flurry scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Boyka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Great Boyka seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Boyka tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Flurry is able to avoid easily.
Flurry will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Crack! A monster head kick from Boyka and Flurry falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Boyka!

After winning the bout, Great Boyka thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
