Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Cua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Cua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roberto Colon! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cua to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Roberto Colon has been cut. Cua showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Colon.
Cua is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cua swings and misses with a shot to the body enabling Colon to counter with a crisp jab. Cua misses with an uppercut
and Colon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cua throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cua drives through and clinches with Colon against the cage.
Cua lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Colon is trying to force a seperation but Cua has the dominant position. Nice body punch from Cua. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cua takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short uppercut from Cua. Cua lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Colon is rocked! Colon tries to break free but Cua pushes him back against the cage. Cua swings wildly with an uppercut but Colon uses good head movement to avoid it. Cua is struggling to control the position. Colon can't break the clinch.
Cua lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Colon tries to break the clinch but Cua is controlling the position. Cua slowing the pace effectively. Cua tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Cua lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Colon backwards. Colon blocks a body shot from Cua. Cua works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cua can't find room to land a body shot as Colon controls the action.
Colon takes a shot to the head. Colon wants to break free but Cua has control.
Cua scores with an uppercut up the middle. Cua leaning his opponent against the cage. Colon is trying to break free. Colon tries to break the clinch but Cua is controlling the position. Colon seems to have recovered his senses. Cua lands an uppercut. Colon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cua pushes Colon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Colon looks winded! Cua stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A left hand lands to the body for Cua.
A shot in the inside from Cua. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Cua lands a left hand that snaps the head of Colon backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cua works on Colon's body with a couple of short punches. Cua just leaning against Colon, taking a breather. Nice body punch from Cua. Cua's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cua struggles to land a body shot inside as Colon controls his hands.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cua. Colon's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Cua avoiding damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cua lands a body punch in the clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Cua.
Cua lands a nice shot to the body. Cua cracks Colon with a nice body shot. Cua lands a shot to the body. Cua lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. The referee calls for Cua to work.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Cua. A short right hand to the side of the head by Cua. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rick Cua dominated that round. The cut man is working on Roberto Colon's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Cua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Colon ducks under a wild hook from Cua. Cua tries to clinch but Colon is having none of it. Cua has Colon up against the cage in a clinch.
Cua drops Colon onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Colon is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Cua lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Colon to his knees! Cua keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Cua! Rick Cua opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
