Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zver Borzuha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Willy Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borzuha leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Johnson.
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Borzuha sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.
Borzuha throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Johnson counter with a right hand.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A punch lands to the side of Borzuha 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Willy Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borzuha shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Borzuha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Johnson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Borzuha turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson manages to get back to half guard.
Borzuha thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Johnson's head.
Johnson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Borzuha thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Borzuha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Borzuha lands strikes from half guard.

Borzuha is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Borzuha looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Johnson wants to control but Borzuha is keeping busy.
Johnson misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Borzuha lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Johnson looks winded!

Johnson has hold of Borzuha's hands but Borzuha slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Johnson is rocked!
Borzuha lands a big elbow - Johnson is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Borzuha!
