The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koltun manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kwaak on his heels. He'll look to pass Kwaak's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kwaak keeping moving, preventing Koltun from controlling successfully.
Kwaak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Koltun trying to control the position from guard on top but Kwaak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kwaak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kwaak has his foot on Koltun's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koltun works his way back into a safe position though.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kwaak is on top in guard.

Kwaak throws a strike but Koltun rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
